I’m sad there isn’t a heaven for them to be excluded from.
If there were a heaven, it would 100% be only for wealthy people. Pearly gates? Golden streets? Nirvana? Eternal peace? That's rich people shit. I certainly can't afford that.
Heaven as a persistent idea in modern society is just a cope that rich people feed poor people through religion. It’s a structure for us to accept our miserable earthly existence in anticipation of future wealth so that the rich can enjoy all of the trappings of heaven on earth.
It’s just metaphysical trickle down economics.

To all the "not true Christian" chanters: Religion is unfortunately way too broad to interpret in many ways, especially christianity, which is filled with many contradictory views. One can just selectively refer to different translations and/or different chapters on the same issue. Jesus was famous for not forgiving child abusers, but the Old Testament has a chapter about "Menstrual Marriage" (allowing adolescent child marriage).
All we need is a good horseshoe.
Even when I was in that kind of group, I would feel embarrassed about pushing in a group. I didn't realize I didn't believe it yet, but that always felt odd and embarrassing in a group, and so pointless when alone.
I was still too brainwashed to think anything of it, but part of me always knew.
"Oh yeah, that's definitely settled: John has the biggest one! Ok folks, zip up before they realize what we're doing!"
