Was this any good? I've tuned back into trek due to lower decks and SNW, hear about this alot but not about it it was good or not.
Avoided it for the longest time, thought it was a kids show (Had been burned by the clone wars cartoon). HOLY CRAP, was it pure unadultered trek. Find it and binge, my friend
The Clone Wars takes a long time to really find its footing, and still has some duds after it does, but the highs are amazing.
I've tried so many times, and I won't knock it. I think it's really well made, I just can't get into it.

I just started, and it is WEIRD seeing Jason Mantzoukas in a kids show.
Good fit it seems, but WEEIIRDDDD.
Also, maybe it's the animation being similar but it feels more like Star Wars than Trek. Definitely the big morphing warden Droid feels more Wars than Trek.

It gets particularly good about 1/3 of the way through the first season. Time Amok is amazing.

Takes a few episodes to get going but by the end of the season I'd rank it as the second best new era Trek after SNW.
Yeah the murder Droid made it feel more Wars than Trek, butI'm on e7 now and pretty onboard.

I'm so glad I binged this on that month I got to watch strange new worlds. I'm super sad it got pulled 2 weeks after I did tho.
