How do I subscribe to your dreams?

[-] Grass@sh.itjust.works 4 points 1 year ago

That would be a kinda scary feature for the next major version of HumanOS

A rather accurate representation of the temper of african greys I gotta say

Mine is leading a revolt in my bird room right now. This is what I have every morning instead of coffee.

[-] BudgieMania@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

hahaha as expected of those demons

[-] Grass@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 year ago

The only ones I know are at a parrot shelter and every time I go there I get my bird hugs from one that supposedly hates men but doesn't attack me. Based on description from shelter operators she is a vicious demon bird though. Two of the other three don't want to step up for me and the last one isn't allowed around men because she goes into an egg laying frenzy.

That parrot wants something from you don't be fooled! They are evil!

I'm sure she is a big sweetie... she hooks her beak over my shoulder and slightly chews while making mumbling sounds mixed with electronic beeps. I'd adopt her if I had the time and money required for a grey and didn't already have seven birds at home.

But yeah she would probably reveal her hidden evil if I did bring her home.

Guy in the bottom right: "Hmmm, this is strange."

That could be the Digimon movie from 1999, but Greymon reaches a higher digivolution level.

[-] Grass@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 year ago

I would have wanted a digimon Gundam crossover series. It would have been top shit when I was a kid.

Ah, the classic digimon evolution line: blob -> little -> big -> fridge -> gun and/or tits

That's a damn good rx-78 tho

[-] Grass@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 year ago

It's kinda funny when you ask for a different Gundam and get an rx-78 with attachments vaguely resembling what you requested.

That Gundam is in trouble and so is everyone in this reality. I have a small parrot, and if that little dude was 20 feet tall, we'd all be dead. Even at his tiny size he can do damage, if he was big he'd tear the world apart when he's in one of his moods

[-] Hamartiogonic@sopuli.xyz 5 points 1 year ago

Were you using the gundam to obliterate the parrots?

[-] Grass@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 year ago

No, both were destroying everything to reclaim the seeds from the government.

[-] Hamartiogonic@sopuli.xyz 1 points 1 year ago

When the parrot infestation gets out of hand, and you call the gundams to exterminate them. Then then the gundams realized what the parrots were originally after so they decided to loot all the seeds for themselves. Who do you call at that point? Godzilla? Let’s hope he doesn’t like seeds as much as everyone else.

It makes perfect sense to picture birds fighting transformers since neither are real.

[-] Theharpyeagle@lemmy.world 11 points 1 year ago

Gundams, however, are real. Exhibit A:

[-] lauha@lemmy.one 5 points 1 year ago

What do you mean. I've seen countless videos of transformers in big US cities. They definitely exist.

[-] EnderofGames@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 year ago

So, was this, like, a dream you had last night, while you were asleep? Or is this like your life's dream?

Either way, it looks like it did a good job.

[-] Grass@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 year ago

Kinda both I suppose. When I was a kid making a functional Gundam was my ultimate goal. Unfortunately nearly endless migraines made getting through school almost impossible. With teachers accusing me of being on drugs and doctors notes amounting to less than the paper they were written on, my marks tanked. I guess it subconsciously comes through along with my undying obsession with birds in my sleep.

[-] southsamurai@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 year ago

Dude! I have those kind of hyper vivid, fantasy level dreams too :)

It's fun as fuck most of the time. Free movies in the head ftw!

[-] Grass@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 year ago

I always wake up with a feeling of confusion over why my brain put all these things together. This time made more sense though as I like birds and unrealistic mecha

[-] lightnsfw@reddthat.com 1 points 1 year ago

Mine are like that but they're always nightmares so it kind of sucks. Sometimes they carry over into hallucinations when I wake up.
