hi there so today i launch boost and get jumpscared by ads playing with sound on by default. i don't mind ads playing muted, but the default being sound on is incredibly infuriating. is this a bug?

Vídeo ads embedded on the feed should be muted by default. Next time could you send a screenshot of the ad?

Why not use one of the many FOSS Lemmy clients with no ads, such as Jerboa or Voyager?
