Props to the union. It was total bullshit that the government forced them into arbitration. What's the point of a right that the government can override at a whim?

Gov. showing us what they think of unions and collective bargaining.

I genuinely think the Liberals, having "solved" labour crises several times over the last year using it, believed Section 107 is a magic wand that could wave strikes away.

Union is doing a banger job here for sure. And that's from a guy who generally has a distrusts of unions.

Hancock said the "whole process has been unfair" and said the union will challenge what it called an unconstitutional order. Air Canada flight attendants picket at Pearson International Airport in Toronto on Saturday.

"Air Canada has really refused to bargain with us and they refused to bargain with us because they knew this government would come in on their white horse and try and save the day," he said.

Based.

Yeah, this keeps happening and makes me sick.

It lowers labour standards across the country, it depresses wages, and it props up monopolies on employment. It’s a gross abuse of human rights.

Every Canadian worker should support them.

Good for them

This is how it should be, that’s what strikes are.

It’s not “oooh Mr prime minister we’re too special, force those workers to worker” with the union going “aw shucks, exploit us harder”

It’s a collective standing up and putting their foot down.

Hell yeah, I support them 100%.
