CoD is the FPS equivalent of FIFA. If you played one since MW1 than you played all of them pretty much.

CoD is the endpoint of games as driven by capitalism. There is no room for experimentation or risk taking, everything needs to be the same as last time because what came before made money. Taking a risk means potentially making less money.

It's the perfect representation of everything wrong with AAA games.
