What are your favorite Vanilla+ versions of classic N64 games, fan remakes, etc. that preferably can run on original hardware? For example Kaze Emanuar's Return to Yoshi's Island or Smash Remix.

I'm planning to get an Analogue 3D and have my kid grow up playing it along with other emulated systems on a RPi.

Tag Anywhere for Donkey Kong 64 makes it at least playable in this day and age (I still don't think it stands up but it removes the most annoying part of the game).

Master of Time for Ocarina of Time is incredible.

Super Mario Star Road is basically a direct sequel to Mario 64.

Tomorrow Never Dies is a 13 level new Bond game based on Goldeneye 007

... but it's a fair criticism. Game is mostly jank held together with hope.
