The Starmerite-dominated NEC timeframe and rule changes to the deputy leadership election are nothing but a corporate stitch up

Welcome to democracy. The year is 2025. You may choose which colour tie your right-wing authoritarian leaders wear.

Anyone to the left of Thatcher has already moved over to Your Party.

Technically not yet.

This will sound insignificant but it is a result of the intentional set up of Your Party

All MPs that currently support Your Party are classed as independent. Because ATM no one has the authority to appoint them as Your Party MPs.

This is an intentional side effect of the Founders of Your Party preventing actions exactly like Starmer is doing here.

By making the very structure of the party democratically run by membership. And requiring MPs to be selected by local party groups.

Until the conference where members will choose a name and agree to processes/rules for the democratic selection of MPs leaders etc. No MP can be any more then a member of the party.
