74-point margin

Why not just say 86% Trump? Much easier.
(Harris 13 %, others 1 %, as per Frontier County results of 1413 votes)

[-] pineapplelover@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 1 month ago

That 1% be RFK

[-] SippyCup@lemmy.ml -1 points 1 month ago

The fact that 200 people out in the boonies voted for Harris is so shocking I'd actually believe they couldn't read and voted wrong before I believed they actually voted for a woman of color.

[-] Lemmyoutofhere@lemmy.ca 17 points 1 month ago

Have the day you voted for.

[-] MushuChupacabra@lemmy.world 13 points 1 month ago

This is the second time that I've heard of this place.

The first time, it was a story about how the community was struggling to keep their young from leaving, and having a hard time attracting new people to move there.

No one wants to stay, and no one wants to move into a community crawling with awful people.

This looks so, so good on them.

Two in the thoughts, one in the prayers.

[-] pineapplelover@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 month ago

I swear they had an issue with police abusing their power as well

Joe Biden has really done a number on these people.

I kind of wish it said "We all are getting what you deserve".

[-] MourningDove@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 month ago

Now include those that chose not to vote, because they should take their credit as well.

[-] webdox@lemmy.world 8 points 1 month ago

Really at this point, ZFG. I feel bad for the people that didn't vote for this shit show who will suffer because of this. How many will die en route to the next closest facility. ALL their deaths will be on Trump and his supporters who will not be given a free pass or mulligan.

[-] Master167@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Yeah, this is my feeling when I see this news. I didn't want suffering so I didn't vote for the orange man. It's just sadder for the people who are suffering because they did vote for orange man. Because they didn't think it would happen to them. It's sad that they deserve it.

[-] SupraMario@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago

I got $100 that they're blaming Democrats for the closure.

[-] boydster@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago

Why does Obama keep doing this to us?

[-] altphoto@lemmy.today 5 points 1 month ago

Simple, they don't have a hospital because the hospital closed?

Just open the hospital again!

What you can't find a doctor to work at the hospital? Just offer to pay more than other hospitals! Easy!

See, all you need is money!

[-] MourningDove@lemmy.zip 4 points 1 month ago

Sow, then reap. This is the way.

[-] MTZ@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

They never imagined that the leopards would eat their faces!

[-] obinice@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

Well, at least the town's sign is already a big gravestone.

[-] BigMacHole@sopuli.xyz 2 points 1 month ago

BUT! And here me OUT! Immigrant and Gay children are KILLING THEMSELVES now! So it's not ALL bad and I would STILL vote for Trump again EVEN when it ALSO Kills me! I"M NOT IN A CULT!

[-] FelixMortane@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 month ago

Sucks to suck.

[-] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 month ago

We're gonna need a new category for Darwin Awards.

> Shoots myself in the foot

> "How could Joe Biden do this?!!"

[-] Professorozone@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

I think it's great when people get what they want. Congratulations to them.

[-] KingOfTheCouch@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 month ago

Remember, remember, who YOU voted for in November.

[-] pineapplelover@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 month ago

For the last 3 elections

[-] zululove@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 month ago

Feds are orchestrating massive civil unrest possibly a civil war so expect it to get worse before it gets better

[-] ScoffingLizard@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 month ago

My favorite is how they manipulated young white gamers to blame everything wrong with their lives on women and minorities. Guess we are in for another 100 years of racist bullshit. We were so close.

[-] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 0 points 1 month ago

Curtis is a small town of 900 people

So, they don't really matter when the state of Nebraska broke 60/40 Republican for ten years running

[-] Tar_alcaran@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 month ago

What does matter is that 86% of the voters there actively voted FOR this. Realistically, the majority probably didn't care enough to vote against it, but of those that voted, 86% are fine with this happening to them.

[-] GuyFawkes@midwest.social 5 points 1 month ago

They’re not fine with it happening to THEM. It was only supposed to happen to OTHER PEOPLE.

[-] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world -2 points 1 month ago

86% of the voters

have no say in government policy

Had they voted for Biden, nothing would have changed.

Realistically, the majority probably didn’t care enough

Why would they? It never materially impacts their lives.

[-] Marshezezz@lemmy.blahaj.zone 0 points 1 month ago

It’s a good sign that these idiots are blaming him but I still feel no sympathy

[-] HorreC@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago

They are not blaming him, the care facility is. This doesnt mean a single one of them will believe it was his fault.

[-] Marshezezz@lemmy.blahaj.zone 0 points 1 month ago

Ah yeah I had a reading comprehension lapse there. That tracks a lot more with logic

[-] HorreC@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

I think it was worded that way to make people think there is light at the tunnel.

[-] Potatar@lemmy.world 0 points 1 month ago

So x + (x+74) = 100 which means 2x = 26 -> x = 13

They voted non-Trump 13% and Trump 87%?

[-] Scolding7300@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

I wish they'd just given the % instead of this metric smh

[-] damnedfurry@lemmy.world 0 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Vital component of LAMF missing, showing where the voters were advocating to cut Medicaid.

If that's not something they wanted and that they expected to affect others and not themselves, it's not LAMF.

EDIT: Lemmy users large angry that the post that doesn't fit the community's theme was called out as such, because they just want this to be 'anti-Trump posts #5627'. This probably includes the mods, though, since despite obviously not meeting Rule #1, it hasn't been removed.

[-] ScoffingLizard@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 month ago

Also, they didn't vote to cut it yet. There are no appropriations.
