Just got a new pixel 10 and the widget at the top is killing me so I am searching for a launcher.

What do you use?

As a former GNOME user, this felt like the only right launcher

I tried some launchers.... and the most I like is Kvaesitso Launcher https://github.com/MM2-0/Kvaesitso

I run grapheneos and I use total launcher because it really customizable and I can open any app by siding in the direction of the app in a folder, its a custom setting but soooo worth it. Here's my home screen, I like it simple

NIAGARA IS THE BEST EVER

I've used Niagara for probably 5 years now. Quick, light, and highly customizable. Yes, there's a paid option, and I like to support the devs.

Really like the tons of gestures on this one!

If you like minimalism, you can try Mere Launcher.

Full disclosure: I made it.

this is the F-Droid sub, your Launcher is not on F-Droid, right? Do you open source it?

[-] owenfromcanada@lemmy.ca 3 points 4 months ago

Ah fair enough, I never got around to putting it on F-Droid. It's not open source at the moment, but I put the APK on my website.

I used GrapheneOS to get rid of it, along with all the other Google bloatware/spyware.

I use Neo Launcher, it's quite nice and customisable

[-] trolske@feddit.org 1 points 4 months ago

And unfortunately pretty buggy.
I still use it though

KOSS Launcher. Tried Lawnchair from F-Droid for some bostalgia, but I fancy KISS Launcher more.

KOSS Launcher

this is probably a typo, you mean KISS Launcher, right?

Package: https://f-droid.org/en/packages/fr.neamar.kiss/

[-] airikr@lemmy.ml 4 points 4 months ago

Woopsi. Yes, I meant KISS :) Wrote that on my phone.

[-] redd@discuss.tchncs.de 4 points 4 months ago

I also use KISS since several years now. Its by far my most productive Launcher ever

[-] FriendBesto@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 week ago

I have added so many search engines to KISS! One of my best features.

Fossy Launcher Beta

[-] MidsizedSedan@lemmy.world 2 points 4 months ago

C Launcher https://f-droid.org/packages/app.clauncher

Renamed a few apps to simpler names (phocid > music. Tubular > newpipe etc)

Just type the app I want, and boom. It opens.

[-] foremanguy92_@lemmy.ml 1 points 4 months ago

I found these kinds of launchers really cool

[-] manuallybreathing@lemmy.ml 2 points 4 months ago

I'm using Evie, I downloaded the APK for it aaaages ago, I don't thinjkit's even availible from any app stores

[-] FriendBesto@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 week ago

Wow, you still have it? Awesome.

[-] Mattr@lemmy.world 2 points 4 months ago

I recommend Kvaesitso or Eblan Launcher.

Lawnchair is solid. Neo Launcher is good too.

Octopi Launcher is maturing. Keeping an eye on it. Enen though not F-droid. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.otp.octopilauncher&hl=en_US
