There are a surprising number of people who don't know about Google's reverse image search feature. It allows you to see where else an image was. Sometimes it's even useful to take advantage of.

Maybe not as obscure as some of the software mentioned here, but definitely not talked enough about.
It basically is software made by the Microsoft Engineers with features that didn't make it into the release version. Some real power user stuff.
Especially the FancyZones is extremely necessary when you have a big old widescreen.
