Hopefully the GabenCube will work out!

This has actually got me hyped. I already have my own "Steam Machine" that is much more powerful, so no real desire for that. The headset and controller I will likely be pre-ordering as they are both something that I have been wanting for a while.

The design of the headset is so cool. Just wish it didn't have a fan, because that means it can accumulate dust.

Same here. I probably won't by any of this but Valve is single handedly carrying the linux gaming revolution.

Would be hype as hell if everyone who bought one finds it pre-installed. Would never happen but would blow the minds of internet denizens for at least a couple years.

Why would it never happen?

That is literally what they did with Alyx and the Index

[-] Rooster326@programming.dev 2 points 1 month ago

It will Require the 3 Pieces.

Machine, Frame and Controller to play 😂😭

Can I still replicate this experience if I just tape a Steam Deck to my forehead?

Let's not anger the gods by getting too greedy.

I am very excited by this. Mainly because it shows Valve is putting a lot of work into making linux the ultimate platform for gaming. And I feel it's going to be awesome!
