Can I turn it off? (lemmy.world)

Hi, phone is galaxy s22. Can I turn this off in status bar? I don't want to remove music player widget thingy from notifications. Thanks a bunch

Shit like a rogue video on a browser tab will even hijack this.

Usually each sub type of notification is listed in the app settings separately, so try to figure out which type it is and see if turning it off causes any undesired effects. The media player widget thing is in my experience separate from app notification stuff.

On my Samsung phone with UI 8 it's part of the "now bar". You can disable live notifications in it. It probably will disable it on lock screen too.

It's the only way I know to disable it.

Ok my phone it's settings>lock screen and aod>now bar
