It's the same as anywhere. FWIW obviously inflammatory stuff gets removed from !android@lemdro.id under rule 9. Disagreements are okay, but folks are expected to keep things civil. Also an issue for kbin/mbin is that moderator removals aren't federated probably to/from Lemmy.
Just a reminder that folks are encouraged to review the rules in the sidebar. It's okay to disagree, but please keep it civil (rule 8). Thanks!
Just a heads up for folks - moderator removals unfortunately don't federate between lemmy and kbin. The comments @BolexForSoup@kbin.social is referring to don't appear for folks on the lemmy side. They're not imagining things!
This could frankly be considered spam. Would be appropriate to ask the mods before promoting.
Doesn't take extreme wealth for that. I make enough that I can buy whatever I want. The best Christmas gifts are things I wouldn't think of needing or wanting.
For birthday, it's usually just a dinner without gifts.
I hadn't heard of Pebble the Twitter competitor. It just makes me miss the Pebble watches.

As a Canadian, I appreciate a lot of what the EU does when it comes to consumer protections. Hopefully this one also ends up impacting the rest of us!
Relatable. Birds are suddenly really interesting in your 30s.
It's definitely sad, but not discriminatory. Organ transplant recipients generally need to take a lot of immunosuppressive medications. Getting fully vaccinated is a bare minimum for improving the likelihood of a successful transplant.
ljdawson's decision to develop a Lemmy app played a significant part in locking down our decision to bring /r/android to !android@lemdro.id.
