A bit of tangent, but I've always hated the framing of "small/less government" vs "big/more government". As if "amount of government" is what determines the system it uses or whose interests it serves.
That's because it's truly meaningless, a phrase in a long list of trite talking points trotted out by our ruling class to justify shitty policy and the entire political & economic system.
