Ubuntu lost the plot.
Glad we still have Debian!
What makes you say that? In the post apart from the usual snap bs, it all seems pretty standard and good. Not even a single AI mention.
The snap bullshit is not bullshit. It's a legitimate sabotage, cheating the user, and making a walled garden.
They're not trustworthy.
Did you read the changes?
They are enabling auto update for some snaps and updating some snaps to a new core. They don't say they're pushing anything else
Hopefully Linux Mint would focus on Debian instead of Ubuntu.
It's that part of (every other) year!
Yess, updated documentation!!!!!!!
Linux
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
