It’s not anymore. They moved production to the US this year.

My understanding is the ingredients are still Canadian (Manitoba) the distilling is in Canada and then, 1 of the 2 bottling/mixing plants is relocating with the other staying in Canada.
Admittedly, the facility which is closing has gotten a large share of headlines, so I can easily see the confusion.
They moved some of their bottling to the US.
The whiskey is still brewed, distilled and aged in Gimli, Manitoba (using Canadian grown grain).
And the bottles sold in Canada are still bottled in Quebec.
It's the bottles that are sold internationally that are being filled in the US plant now.

Still, definately a less than ideal situation, but not as catastrophic as some people are claiming.
Ah, more trivia! I had Crown Royal a couple of times in the 2010s. I think they should produce something else.
But Sour Puss moved to Canada.
Crown Royal is a joke, high school parking lot whiskey. Like Silk Tassel.
Excuse me, we only drink Fireball in high school parking lots!

They aren't really anymore.
People are pointing out that the Amherstburg plant is being shuttered, but let's be clear: Crown Royal has been owned by Diago, a London-based megacorp, since 2000.
It's a quarter century since it has actually been a Canadian company.
Was it drinkable before 2000?
Their Rye is actually pretty decent, at least when I had it a few years ago.
It's made in Gimli Manitoba and bottled in Quebec (and until recently also in Ontario, but that bottling plant was closed and the capacity moved to one of Diego's plants in the US.
It is still made in Manitoba, and still uses Canadian grown grain. And the bottles sold in Canada are still bottled in Quebec.
I have kept maybe 75% of all glass pipes I have owned in a Crown Royal bag. Not my taste in whiskey but I love the bag
