Good. It's terrible that this is a reality, but what is happening here is the decriminalization of being homeless and a student. Sure, you have to have a car, which isn't great, but for those in this situation that need this service, I imagine it to be a comfort.

What this also does is make a very public safe space for people in dire conditions to congregate, commiserate, and hopefully organize. Please make a tent city; nothing will help illustrate the problem more. Create a safe place for unhoused people and see just how many show up.

A safe space for anyone to help meet their basic needs should always be a good thing.

A friend of mine used to live in his car, and he told me the worst part was getting chased away all the time. This would remove some stress from a very stressful situation.

Are their normal car parks not safe? At my uni in the UK there's plenty of people using campers and they don't even need to hide their setups.

Safe from theft, vandalism and harassment? Mostly yes! Safe from police looking to solve homelessness via criminalization? No.
