The hero we deserve... CROCS.

[-] ExLisper@lemmy.curiana.net 0 points 1 month ago

People do realize this money will no come from Trump personal account and will not go to Crocs customers? It's a corporation asking for a bailout. What's to applaud?

[-] just_another_person@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

The pushback is the key thing. The Trump Administration losing in court to the handful of large companies suing is going to have a big impact.

The lawsuit challenges the administration’s emergency tariffs, arguing that the law Trump cited in his April order does not authorize the president to levy tariffs and that the so-called national emergency was not a genuine emergency and did not involve an “unusual or extraordinary threat,” the lawsuit states, as per the Business Journal.

If they win it will fuck Trump politically. Every company will have a go.

In fairness, anything that helps crocs disappear forever gets my vote.

I would buy my first pair of Crocs and wear them 23/7 for the rest of my life if it would make Cheeto disappear.

[-] ExtremeDullard@piefed.social 1 points 1 month ago

You have a point.

[-] neon_nova@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 month ago

What will you be doing that one hour each day while not wearing the crocs?

[-] thelivefive@startrek.website 5 points 1 month ago

He's probably thinking he would have to take them off to shower, but this is actually one of the many benefits of Crocs.

[-] neon_nova@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 month ago

My first thought was love making, but who wants to take them off for that?!?

[-] Harvey656@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

I hate crocs, they are uncomfortable and ugly, but this is stupid. Who hurt you with a croc?

[-] nocturne@slrpnk.net 1 points 1 month ago

I love my Crocs.
