Lawnchair 15 Beta 2 is now available

It's a nice launcher but many bugs
I’ve tried soooo many launchers. Absolutely nothing has equaled the total features and polish of Nova. Thus far the one I’m able to most tolerate is Poco, and on some devices I actually like Launch Time, which is a lot more visible a presence since it has a menu bar and background everything. It’s more like the old Program Manager in Windows 3.1. Poco is fairly simple but doesn’t support adaptive so when you apply an icon pack it won’t generate an approximation for ones that aren’t in the pack. On Nova most packs will at least encapsulate icons in their pack’s design shell. If Poco got a little more sophisticated I would like it.
And I also quite like the total simplicity of Neat Launcher, which is nice because it’s also open source.
The version 15 beta 1 has been pretty good. Haven't run into any bugs yet. Older versions definitely had some.
Just installed beta 2, so we'll see.
I still can't add a widget if it requires opening a setting page first (e.g. widget for AntennaPod or VLC)
I tried to reproduce your error, but both AntennaPod and VLC widgets work without a problem. Have you tried a fresh Lawnchair install?
Yes, I have the same issue with Fossify Launcher btw. I've seen someone else report this issue on their Github, I'll check how to provide some logs.
The only "Nova-like" FOSS launcher I don't have issues with widgets is Neo Launcher (but latest update is 3 years old :/ ), it could be linked to a specific brand/model/android version
