To see a video of this terrible lady (one of the very first Karens on the internet), search "barbecuing while Black."

They always assume you're American and then you see their brain short circuiting when they find out you're not. It's as if other countries only exist as this abstract notion and only America is real. They tend to think of us as this monolithic abstraction as everyone in a Muslim country, for example, shares some inherent trait instead of a place with its own contradictions and its own complexities that cannot be reduced to their dumb generalities.

For a while there were quite an active number of Arabic speakers on Mastodon though most have moved on BlueSky or defederated.

Someone wrote this to me in all seriousness

"Enablers are bad, yes, but invading aggressors are worse., Your comment reads like “both sides” Russian propaganda."

My family are Persian rug dealers that lived in Iraq.

خخخخخخخخخخخ Tell them about libya, installation of the shah or most middle east interventions. You can tell where they live immediately after they say BS like this lmao

I get called either Russian or Chinese propaganda bot sometimes (because there are that many MONOTHEISTS in any of these countries...) and I'm pretty far ethnically from both, lol.
