im so tired mentally n physically and idk what to do. i got banned from reddit again too for “breaking the rules” and i know i shouldn’t have now but i was looking for s bf for my friend and now reddit thinks im a pedo. im just lile them despite being 14 im just like the pedos whose faces i wanna bash in…

not only this but im just overall depressed. i dont rly need advice just someone to listen…

Listen, I know it's way easier said than done, but try your best not to listen to others online. With the anonymity of the internet and the lack of needing to look people in the eye or be there in person, a lot of people are willing to be nasty and bully others. Think of it as a blessing in disguise that you were banned from a toxic environment. Fuck them. Don't let the shitheads win by doing this to yourself. It's a bigger fuck you to them if you are able to live your life and thrive instead.

Things are especially rough as a teenager. Your brain is going through all of these changes and there are a shitton of new emotions and social social shit running through there. It's overwhelming at times and makes everything feel significant. I promise your brain will stop being this overloaded over time. You just need to hang in there. 14 is a rough as fuck time but you will not feel these things forever. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, man. You just gotta keep walking forward, but don't have to run through the tunnel if that makes sense. Take a rest and care for yourself.

i meant “a bf” (a boyfriend”. they think im a pedo and banned me bc i was like “16m4m looking for a bf for my friend (ages 15-17)” so they thought i was a pedo looking for kids

Ahhh ok. Please don't be upset when I say this, but it's a terrible idea to do that. Consider it a blessing that you were banned because you really shouldn't be doing that again. Even though you aren't a pedo, pedos are likely to find you and prey on you at that age, unfortunately. Even if you think you could never be a victim, you can, and it does happen.

And I say this as someone who started to get intently into online communities at 13. Skip the relationship part, even if you're trying to help your friend out. There are many gross scumbags out there. Believe it or not, at this age, both you and your friend are incredibly vulnerable. People can and will seek that out and take advantage of you.

I don't mean online dating is never a good idea, just that you should wait until your brain is more developed. Even if you think you or your friend are mature for your age, the human brain doesn't stop developing and maturing until around 25-ish.

I know it sucks and it's way easier said than done, but you guys need to seek out relationships in person at this age. Save online dating until you're a lot older. Sorry, bud.

Good luck out there and really try to not worry about what other people say. You live for you, not random online. You got this, fam.
