8pm, Sky ArtsDerwentwater, known as the “queen of the Lakes”, is home to the world’s biggest colouring pencil – at the Derwent Pencil Museum in Keswick – and is the starting point for this year’s art competition. Stephen Mangan is back on warming hosting duties, as some artists beg for the sunlight to hit the water as they get to work on their paintings. The first artist is chosen for the semi-finals – along with a wildcard painter – but will you agree with the judges’ decisions? Hollie Richardson
