So much I'm trying to figure out, but I've been out of tech and emulation for a while.

So my girlfriend has an M1 Mac she's trying to play Earthbound on. I've been out of emulation for a while, and know nothing about M1s, so my solution was to download RetroArch. It works pretty well, but she's run into an issue where audio gets really fucky when she plugs her laptop into her TV with an HDMI adapter. I don't know what all she tried, I wasn't there, but I'm posting here in hopes somebody has a suggestion on what to do. Should we download a separate emulator? A specific core on RetroArch that works better for M1s?

Any tips are appreciated ❤️
