I took this using my Lumix G9 and my Leica 12-60mm lens at iso 200, f/3.9, and 1/1000 second exposure time.

This viewpoint is a great spot to view Mt St Helens but can be a bit of a sketchy drive due to ice and snow during the winter. This year it was a really tame drive up there due to the extreme lack of snowpack we've gotten this year.

Normally the mountain looks like a featureless snow pile this time of year but this year you can see spots without snow all the way to the rim of the caldera. It's heartbreaking and breathtaking.

This year is gonna be rough one this summer over here, I can feel it.
