Mirrors Edge 1
Overlord, for as old as the game is (nearly 20 years now) it looks great and has a very tongue in cheek humor throughout the story giving it a lot of charm. Sadly the choices in the game amount to be nice :) or be disney villain >:(
Dwarf Fortress. Wait, no.
Battlezone
Portal 2
The original Talos Principle, easily one of the most stunning games I've played
Phenomenal call, well met stranger.
Donkey Kong Country on the SNES.
Valheim if you want something newer
Valheim is considerably demanding imo, have to play the game at 1080p to get a decent and consistent frame rate on my 5700 XT
Half-Life 2 or Fallout NV
I love NV but I would not use the word gorgeous to describe it
I personally think it still stands as a beautiful game, the art style especially has aged quite well
Metal Gear Solid : V
The Fox engine was another kind of black magic
For real, I feel like the konami drama kind of overshadowed this aspect. Yes it’s a shame metal gear died, but kojima isn’t dead and still gets to make games. But the fox engine? That’s the true tragedy.
The Trine series is really pretty and even the newest entry has relatively modest hardware requirements.
A Link to the Past

Mega Man X
Yoshi's Island
Earthworm Jim
Pong.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (emulated)
EVE Online. still after all these years (23) it's still a beautiful game that I god damn am still addicted to.
I'm so sorry, brother. I escaped 7 years ago.
Bastion = 2gb ram
Warframe.
My potato from 15 years ago could in fact not run if (fluently; had like 15 fps).
ut'99 baby. full game with healthy stack of mods would be maybe a gig or two. would look and play well on most types of computational vegetation. ok, yeah UT2004 would also look nice and play in most potatoes.
i listed more but then I looked and it showed my age so I deleted them and focused on unreal ya whippersnappers.
quit your lolligagging
My waifu GladOS
Warframe
tf2, starcraft2, terraria, cuphead
Twilight Princess
Spelunky original version
Portal 2
Not the same as any of these, but I always felt Spyro had a beauty to it, even if it is a bright and colourful one.
Age of empires 2
for the 2nd requirments, I guess it falls into any of these categories

- indigames (e.g. Hades, Cuphead)
