Monarchies are rotten. The entire concept!
Need some french helps for your monarchy ?
It feels a bit like the English establishment media is drunk at the moment. The public seems to be on board with Andrew getting what's coming to him, and I suspect this hasn't really moved the dial on abolishing the monarchy for anyone that didn't already want to abolish the monarchy before the Epstein files were released. Edit: Spelling/grammar.
What about parliament? I'm sure we can find a few pedophiles (if they lack pedophiles, then they absolutely 100% sure have some corrupt bribe-demanders) there too. Is parliament rotten?
yes
Is parliament rotten?
To the fucking core.
Downvoters, why are you downvoting? Explain yourselves or be branded spineless, dirty monarchists!
Since you asked, I thought the article seemed like a bit of a gossipy tangent of the more serious story of the day, and voted against it, it's just a vote, not a monarchist, the opposite, just got fed up with too much monarchy for one day.
United Kingdom
General community for news/discussion in the UK.
Less serious posts should go in !casualuk@feddit.uk or !andfinally@feddit.uk
More serious politics should go in !uk_politics@feddit.uk.
Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
