Well that's going to be a good vector for feeding disinformation to the police.
Would be interested to see the data protection impact assessments that were done before the software was rolled out.
Particularly how the benefits of using this outweigh the rights and freedoms of the data subjects. Would also be interested to see the consultations that took place.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
