I like to think of if it as "mogging" the codebase with the sigma branch

It's the exact same image that was sloppified, so why did they even generate one to begin with?
So they don't have to credit and claim it's "own work"

Thanks for the link. It annoys me that even "good" journalism (PC Gamer) didn't quote him correctly; stripping the tags obfuscated the original tone.

What is it with people delegating the simplest things to AI ? it's a graphic with dots and lines and a little bit of text ffs, just do it yourself like a big boy
(and even then, how do you not proofread something like this?)
even worse: the original could've just been used with appropriate attribution. It's even easier than generating an image.
But you see it's more difficult than just saying "generate me github flow readme"
I absolutely love the fact that we'll most likely never get rid of stuff like that in AI generated content. There will always be things that are wrong/wonky with it.
The problem is when they start making it acceptable to the masses
Why did this happen? Like in what circumstance does it make sense to delete tge originals and replace them with slop?
Im guessing they wanted to make the screenshot a little more modern with solid colors, solid arrows and plain white backgrounds.
And then made no effort to proofread it

i dont even get why they needed to make an ai copy if they were gonna steal at least just right click copy the image.
