I used to think he had been a decent president. But after his term ended and new information came out it became clear that he was always onboard with genocide in Gaza. The nickname Genocide Joe will never die. Zionist asshole.

[-] Delilah@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 1 month ago

There were signs before he was president, he was the biggest recipient of donations from pro Israeli groups during his 36 years in the senate. He consistently voted with the war hawks. Biden always was a genocidal shitbag.

[-] ObtuseDoorFrame@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

You're right, of course.

It's funny how leftists will criticize people who agree with them because they didn't come to that conclusion within a convenient time frame.

I didn't find out that Biden had always been a Zionist until fairly recently. He was quite vocal about it when he was a senator, apparently. Was I supposed to research political activity that happened before I was born?

[-] Delilah@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 1 month ago

When someone is running for president, you should probably research their history

[-] ObtuseDoorFrame@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 month ago

I didn't vote for him in the primary, though. And I wasn't about to vote for Trump. I should've researched an old candidate's 50 year history in politics to justify voting against Donald Fucking Trump?

[-] Delilah@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

You should research the position of anyone who is a viable candidate, regardless of how truly awful the opposition is. I'm not saying anyone should have changed their vote to the mildly sentient blob of hamburger grease who rapes children for fun, just that everyone should know the political positions and history of the potential leaders of their country.

...why? It's a two party system. You're suggesting I should justify voting against Donald Fucking Trump, the child rapist? There was no other option. I was supposed to go through a 50 year political career to find some bad shit? And then what, get mad at some old CSPAN clips and then vote for the kid raper? You're not being realistic.

Who did you vote for?

[-] Maeve@kbin.earth 1 points 1 month ago

It's a monoparty system with the illusion of choice, like Unilever markets several brands of laundry detergent and ice cream. You could have voted third and made a better choice. Unless you were in a swing state, you could have voted De La Cruz or Stein, for example, without supporting the beast.

[-] ObtuseDoorFrame@lemmy.zip -1 points 1 month ago

Stein? She's a Russian agent, meant to take votes away from democratic candidates. I thought this was common knowledge. How is third party a better choice when the Republican candidate is literally a fascist? Voting third party supports "the beast" and we had no idea Biden would be such a catastrophe for Gaza, and we had no idea that October 7th was going to happen.

I chose the most pragmatic option.

[-] Maeve@kbin.earth 1 points 1 month ago

Who told you that and why do you believe it?

[-] Fishnoodle@lemmy.world 8 points 1 month ago

He loves to flex that he can go out in public, with no fear. When's the last time Trump made an appearance in public?

Trump knows he's not safe outside of his ivory tower.

[-] nymnympseudonym@piefed.social 4 points 1 month ago

If I met Biden in public, I would very much want to tell him in person:

  1. He was my last choice in the 2018 Dem Primary. I met him, shook his hand, thought him an idiot.
  2. He was a very good POTUS who (1) surrounded himself with competent people and (2) listened to them (the two most important abilities of any POTUS)
  3. He can still get close enough to Trump to bite down on The Tooth...
[-] SatansMaggotyCumFart@piefed.world 2 points 1 month ago

No Biden was the worse president ever because he didn’t fix every problem with America before Americans decided Trump needed a second chance.

[-] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

And my feet hurt and somehow that's Biden's fault too

[-] zikzak025@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

I had that sort of thought myself not long ago. If Donald Trump just showed up in front of me out of the blue one day, would I try to kill him?

I don't consider myself a radical or revolutionary. I'm not gunning to be the next big-name presidential assassin to appear in the history books. I'm just a normal, everyday person trying to get by, one day at a time.

But I think I would. I dunno. Maybe a lot of other normal people feel the same way.

[-] Darkassassin07@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 month ago

I don't care if it would be my last action on this earth; I'd jump at the opportunity.

[-] zikzak025@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Hah, well your username may be more relevant than mine, at least!

[-] Assassassin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 month ago

If he shows his ass, it's grass.

[-] Cheeseballll1@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

I had the opportunity in '24 while he was campaigning. I was alone in the room with him for about two minutes. He was repulsive and I refused to say a word to him beyond a brief introduction as I was escorted into the room. I had a sizable knife and a multi-tool on me at the time. My friends and family will never let me live down the opportunity I threw away, but I wouldn't have made it out alive. I'm realizing now, they're essentially saying they'd rather have him dead than me alive.

[-] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

you could have spared us all so much and for that i will never forgive you, person i have never met.

okay, i'm over it but YOU BLEW IT ALL UP! DAMN YOU! DAMN YOU TO HELL! fuck i got my wrong nerd rage going but you get it. one of these days we will collectively forgive you and then we will chuckle about it over a cup of, i don't know, boiled morning water i don't know what life is going to look like in 20 years

[-] Cheeseballll1@lemmy.world 0 points 1 month ago

I can't say I've ever forgiven myself.

[-] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

i'd say forgiveness comes only through jesus but his mercy only extends so far. have you considered alternative religions? i can recommend some really fun cults

[-] scintilla@crust.piefed.social 2 points 1 month ago

Heavens gate still has a sick website.

[-] XeroxCool@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

I would have assumed you'd be searched and stripped of any potential weapons.

[-] Jesusaurus@lemmy.world 0 points 1 month ago

Well, you are likely on a list now 🫠

[-] HalfAFrisbee@lemmy.world 0 points 1 month ago

You say that like every single person that doesn't support them isn't on that list already.

[-] funkless_eck@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago

yeah the list is just people who have not given him money in the last 6 hours.

[-] Proprietary_Blend@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Wow. This turned into a Trump post really fast!

[-] dan1101@lemmy.world 0 points 1 month ago

I know he wasn't seeming very well before he quit his reelection campaign, but just think how hugely better things would have been with him still president.

[-] GalacticSushi@piefed.blahaj.zone 3 points 1 month ago

Now we have this visage of healthiness at the helm.

[-] mrdown@lemmy.world 0 points 1 month ago
[-] moody@lemmings.world 1 points 1 month ago

He looks pretty close, honestly.

[-] Maeve@kbin.earth -1 points 1 month ago

How is he not dead yet?! Did he also kill babies to eat the intestines?!

[-] ohshit604@sh.itjust.works 0 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Sheesh enough with the conspiracies, y’all are out of hand, and this is coming from a conservative leaning voter.

Honestly though.. if I saw him on a commercial flight, I would very sarcastically thank him for losing the republic, and would finish with “nothing will fundamentally change”.
