I like to go into games blind, and this one (on switch) was recommended from an LLM search lol in the vein of the types of VNs I like.

I started it the other day but I have a hard time getting into the writing, it's very "word-for-word Japanese" and feels very anime. And it starts in the same way as Zero Escape, with people stuck in a complex having to play a 'game' of life and death to get out, but it wasn't actually real and this narrative is only part of the first chapter. I thought it was a nice reversal but kind of formulaic still.

But apparently it's not so bad and I figure all of this is part of setting up the story. But I'll be honest I have a hard time deciding to continue lol.

I also found a PC game called Sekimeiya: The Spun Glass in a similar vein, where you apparently have to take a ton of notes and it's some 40-hour mystery. Putting that one up for next.

Anyone else played it? Worth persevering through?
