At least you're honest about it.

Don't think about it too much. Engaging with paradoxes is known to exercise your mental muscles.

I only pee in other people's showers.

I've done plumbing work before, it's all pipes, people. Piss to your heart's content, you're not hurting anything

I have a slow drain so the shower ends up with a shallow puddle by the end. So, no, I don't like standing in a puddle of my own pee.

But otherwise, pipes is pipes. No judgement here.

Snake ur drain bby <3

[-] SirEDCaLot@lemmy.today 5 points 1 month ago

Look up a product called Thrift. You can get it on Amazon. It's a type of flake drain cleaner, comes in a bottle. Basically run your shower on super hot for a few minutes to heat up the pipe, then pour a bunch of this stuff down, and a bit more hot water. Leave it alone for a few minutes, then flush with hot water. Unlike Drano, this stuff actually works. Originally I found it on a plumbing subreddit. I've done it to my shower a few times and it seems to have a longer lasting effect every time, like it's actually cleaning out the pipe.

[-] SkyezOpen@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

Have you cleaned out your drain?

Yes, I also pee in the sink.

[-] starman2112@sh.itjust.works 8 points 1 month ago

There was a whole community about that back on the other website. We should get a sink pissers community going on Lemmy

[-] daggermoon@piefed.world 9 points 1 month ago

We have one. It's pretty inactive. Last time I posted there someone was giving me shit for pissing in the sink. Like why are you here? lol.

There are two types of people in the world. People who pee in the shower and those that lie about not peeing in the shower.

Only if Iโ€™m already in the shower to wash myself lol.

[-] deadbeef79000@lemmy.nz 17 points 1 month ago

Yes, like a normal person ๐Ÿ˜‰

[-] sparkles@piefed.zip 14 points 1 month ago

No, because itโ€™s right there next to the toilet and I donโ€™t want to get pee on my feet.

[-] MeowWeHaveAProblem@toast.ooo 24 points 1 month ago

Strange story for you.. I had very bad athletes foot for many years. All the off the shelf powders and creams didn't help at all. Someone told me to pee on my feet to cure it, I didnt believe them but tried it anyways. Worked amazingly quickly. Occasionally I do it still but not all the time. Haven't had athletes foot in over 25 years... I'm so sorry for the story. ๐Ÿ˜‚

[-] WhiteOakBayou@lemmy.world 11 points 1 month ago

You still pee on your feet occasionally as some kind of preventative you're saying?

[-] MeowWeHaveAProblem@toast.ooo 6 points 1 month ago

Yep that's the idea. Not actually sure if its preventing anything.. But it hasn't come back. Its in the shower so I don't care. Finish washing up and spray the shower with cleaner when im done. ๐Ÿ˜‚

[-] WhiteOakBayou@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

No one wants itchy feet that's for sure

[-] starman2112@sh.itjust.works 4 points 1 month ago

Prophylactic feet pissing is now my favorite phrase in the English language

Our shower drains into the grey water tank and then to our fruit tree irrigation line, so... Of course yes.

[-] digdilem@lemmy.ml 5 points 1 month ago

Our shower drains into the grey water tank a

I've done the maths!

Shower water /is/ normally collected in grey water systems, but piss would be so diluted as to be a negligable contaminant. A shower uses roughly 70 litres of water. An average human bladder voiding is 400ml, so that works out at 0.57% piss in the grey water collected in a single shower. Negligable - but for fruit trees, a fertiliser.

The shower is the only place i pee and as for poo, well that's a story for another time....

[-] MrSulu@lemmy.ml 8 points 1 month ago

Never trust anyone who doesn't pee in the shower!

[-] PixTupy@lemmy.ml 8 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

There was a campaign in Brazil urging people to pee in the shower to save water.

[-] stoicEuropean@lemmy.ml 7 points 1 month ago

Of course, and occasionally I also poop in the shower. It's always funny to stomp it down the drain.

[-] cone_zombie@lemmy.ml 7 points 1 month ago

I know it's a running gag on the internet but I unironically think there's someone who actually does this

[-] billwashere@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

[-] Test_Tickles@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

And this is why all of Dave's neighbors have learned to securely lock down their entire house before taking a shower.
