Finished my turning saw yesterday! I’m very happy with how it came out. Darker wood is white oak, lighter is Port Orford cedar, all finished with BLO and paste wax. It was made from plans by Rex Krueger.

Rex is the cheerleader of the woodworking personalities on YouTube. He’s like a physical therapist, cheering you on and giving assurances that you can do this!

Very nice! When I was a kid my dad and I made one for my hobbies. It was way worse than anything one could imagine it to look like, but it cut pretty good.
