How about protect the youth from rising rent and housing prices first so they can afford to live and retire some day?

Getting people like Gregor Robinson out of the party is a good first step.

So, government cannot regulate business anymore? Does nationalism mean anything or are we already in a global obedience phase? Rather than getting rid of the offensive nature of social media they want the kids to pluck their eyes out? I do agree with a social media ban for kids I'm just a bit non-plussed at the cattle chutes we are being forced into.

Don't underestimate the determination of a kid who is time rich and cash poor.

Yes, social media is detrimental for adolescent development, but it's also pretty terrible for everyone else as well. Blocking access to a portion of the population is only a band aid, and is likely to grow into a terribly insecure implementation of age verification just waiting to be compromised.

Regulate the predatory nature of the platforms, not the users.

Additionally, teach people how to combat the naturally addictive personality that is nearly present in all of us.

You'd think the government would go after the low hanging fruit like people threatening to kill and rape others on the internet.

Aside from the crap you see in Rachel Gilmore's comment section. There's comments like this under Carney's to, but that dude seems to have some really selective vision.
