UK has been milktoast about the war. King might still condemn it, so if he cancels, it can be on his own terms of US not deserving to receive him. Oh, I see which sub I am in.... if cancel, do so with condemnation.
Think that would be a good idea. Also since his brother was arrested and we should be shunning the US government for not prosecuting any of their own over Epstein files.
Would honestly be mpre appropriate, though very dangerous, to do a state visit to iran or nother middke east country and pledge some aid.
Andrew is being prosecuted for being a traitor, he got caught sending top secret documents not being in the files.
It's easy to prove he shared the files. It's harder to prove (legal proof) that he raped children. It's akin to Al Capone being convicted of tax fraud.
I'm personally hoping it's a "shake the tree" charge. By going after a royal, they will hopefully unnerve others with similar material in the files. They can then potentially use plea deals on those to go after the bigger fish.
GHCQ already has more. These guys are unlikely to start flipping, not just because the "ring" nature of the blackmail but because they killed EVERYONE for the Franklin Scandal but one girl who was left alive and imprisoned for perjury as a warning to others. IMHO you're more likely to see members of the house of lords step down, fall out of windows or passionately saber rattle for Israel.
Likely true.
I can still hope that there are some people with a bit of integrity, willing to rattle the cages, when they can.

General community for news/discussion in the UK.
Less serious posts should go in !casualuk@feddit.uk or !andfinally@feddit.uk
More serious politics should go in !uk_politics@feddit.uk.
Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
