9pm, BBC Two“Horror. Absolute horror.” It has been 30 years since the Sea Empress oil spill disaster caused one of the UK’s most serious marine pollution incidents. Within hours of hitting rocks in Milford Haven port, Wales, 70,000 tons of oil poured into the sea and spread across the coastline of Pembrokeshire.
