Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said Sunday that, under orders from him and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the IDF will accelerate the demolition of Lebanese homes in frontline villages along the border, "in line with the model we applied in Gaza's Rafah and Beit Hanoun," which have been largely flattened.

Western countries need to kick whatever Zionist organizations they may have that collect funds for Israel and lobby the government, like AIPAC or the Jewish Defense League and such, then come down on Israel like a bitch with full military force and put the region under mentorship until Israel is dissolved and the land returned to Palestinians.

Must be a lot of children and babies there.

Death death to the IDF!

I will not shed a tear if israel is wiped out, just like I wouldn't have shed a tear if I was around to see nazi germany wiped out.

This is my proposal to end the Israeli Palestinian conflict. Egypt will be given the West Bank enlarged by land equivalent to the Gaza Strip. In return, Israel will be given the Gaza Strip and land at least 3 times larger than the West Bank in the Sinai Peninsula. Some of the land will be adjacent to water so Israel can build desalination plants. The Sinai is inhospitable, and Egypt doesn’t have the technology to develop it, but Israel does. With its new land, Egypt can give it to the Palestinians, make it a state within Egypt, or whatever it wants.

How about abolishing the Apartheid instead

[-] panthera_@lemmy.today 1 points 2 weeks ago

How do you propose doing that?

[-] IndustryStandard@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

Stop giving them weapons and money and it collapses

[-] panthera_@lemmy.today -2 points 2 weeks ago

The US will never stop supporting Israel. Believing otherwise is a fantasy.

[-] mrdown@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

And israel will never accept your proposal. They want to exterminate palestinians from the land

[-] panthera_@lemmy.today 0 points 2 weeks ago

Israel will accept my proposal because it will get a huge chunk of land in the Sinai. More land equates to a larger population and consequently, a more powerful country.

[-] mrdown@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

Did you forget that Israel want a greater israel that include Egypt?

[-] hark@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

The real fantasy is thinking a genocidal ethnostate that relies heavily on billions in welfare from the west is sustainable.

Israel is a prosperous country. From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Israel

The economy of Israel is a highly developed free-market economy.[23][4][24][25][26] The prosperity of Israel's advanced economy allows the country to have a sophisticated welfare state, a powerful modern military said to possess a nuclear-weapons capability with a full nuclear triad, modern infrastructure equivalent to developed countries, and a high-technology sector competitively on par with Silicon Valley.[23] It has the second-largest number of startup companies in the world after the United States,[27][needs update] and the third-largest number of NASDAQ-listed companies after the U.S. and China.[28] American companies, such as Intel,[29] Microsoft,[30] and Apple,[31][32] built their first overseas research and development facilities in Israel. More than 400 high-tech multi-national corporations, such as IBM, Google, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco Systems, Facebook and Motorola have opened R&D centers throughout the country.[33] As of 2025, the IMF estimated Israel has the 25th largest economy in the world by nominal GDP, and one of the biggest economies in the Middle East.[1]

The world, including Europe and the US, needs to boycott, sanction, and isolate israel like the world did with South Africa in the 1970s and 1980s. They will soon realize that their ethnosupremacist state has made them a pariah that has cost them legitimacy and money.

[-] panthera_@lemmy.today 0 points 2 weeks ago

The US will not boycott Israel. Consequently, your idea is similar to Aesop's Fables, The Mice in Council. See https://aesopsfables.org/F184_The-Mice-in-Council.html

[-] Mrkawfee@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

The US is not the world.

[-] mrdown@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

The hell is that bullshit. Palestine should be it's own state

[-] panthera_@lemmy.today -1 points 2 weeks ago

Under my proposal that will be up to Egypt. I think Egypt will prefer to make Palestine a state within Egypt.

[-] mrdown@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

It is up to palestinians not egypt

[-] panthera_@lemmy.today -2 points 2 weeks ago

No, under my proposal Egypt would own the territory occupied by Palestinians.

[-] kreskin@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

well your proposal is stupid.

[-] sparky@lemmy.federate.cc 1 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

Uh.. the West Bank doesn’t border Egypt. You’d be cresting an Egyptian enclave separated from the rest of Egypt by Israeli territory. And anyway, that land originally belonged to Jordan.

[-] panthera_@lemmy.today -1 points 2 weeks ago

In the proposal, Israel would have to allow Egypt access by land to the West Bank. Alternately, Egypt could be given a land corridor through Israel. This land would count as part of the land given Egypt in exchange for Israel being given the Gaza Strip.

[-] sparky@lemmy.federate.cc 0 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

I’ll just leave this here as an example of why having one country split in two is a bad idea https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Pakistan

[-] panthera_@lemmy.today 0 points 2 weeks ago

Egypt is not being split in two. It is being given the West Bank enlarged by land equivalent to the Gaza Strip in exchange for Israel getting a large chunk of land in the Sinai and the Gaza Strip. The continental US is separated from Alaska. The UK is composed of Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England.

[-] panda_abyss@lemmy.ca -1 points 2 weeks ago

This is sick. I’m so fucking tired of Israel’s actions at this point.

Lebanon isn’t a pure Shia country that poses any acute threat to Israel. It’s a relatively diverse country with many religions and full of innocent people.

Yes, Hezbollah is a problem, but that doesn’t give them the right to destroy entire villages.

[-] IndustryStandard@lemmy.world 0 points 2 weeks ago

Hezbollah is not a problem. They are part of the solution.
