Built a japanese toolbox out of oak scraps, using my japanese handtools for my japanese handtools.
Very nice! I’m planning to make one of these soon. Can you post pictures of the bottom, and maybe of one of the trays?
The bottom of is plywood and there are no trays but just some dividers.

Ill use my japanese handtools from my japanese handtoolbox to create more japanese handtools to fill new japanese handtool boxes that I will need to build with my japanese handtools.

The tools are just the handtools I use the most.
Buts 3 cheap factory made chisels, a cheap japanese kanna 45mm and s mortice gauge. No fancy stuff, but with proper tuning I get good results with them. A couple og Japanese saws, a hammer and some measuring tools.

What is the name of the saw? Also is that a wooden hammer?
