Meanwhile people literally can’t pay their electricity bills. Kier zero-privacy Starmer really prioritising the important things here. Time to look at graphene OS

As someone who has used grapheneos for a long-long time I would like to warn you. Once you go graphene it's hard to go back.

Whilst I would prefer this hadn’t happened, this is by far the best implementation I’ve seen so far. I appreciate not everybody has a credit card, but it’s much, much better to use a form of checking like that which has both an expiry date and a cancellation procedure, unlike a government ID which contains multiple pieces of information which you can’t really change (like your date of birth and a photo)

Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
