The party and the prime minister have been on the back foot ever since. Lewis Goodall explores Labour’s air of rolling crisis and finds causes ranging from the self-inflicted (the appointment of Peter Mandelson as the UK’s ambassador to the US) to the unfortunate (the re-election of Donald Trump).
