33% of Canadians wait more than two years for effective menopause care due to a complex series of barriers ranging from confusion over symptoms and dismissed concerns to not knowing where to turn for help.

I had absolutely no idea that menopause was something you could seek treatment for, or how much it can affect day-to-day life. Thank you for sharing.

I've heard plenty of anecdotes of doctors still not understanding how a woman's body works or how to treat such cases, or not caring, I don't know, but it's insane that there isn't enough research or funding to deal with these things. Why?
