I never understood Ecco the Dolphin. A friend of mine was a Sega kid (had the Master System and then the Genesis) and I think his sister got Ecco? Because he was mostly playing Mutant League Football and Gemfire. I never actually saw him play Ecco. But, I thought, hey, dolphin game, sounds rad, and swam around for a bit but could not figure out where to go or what to do. Maybe someday I'll watch a Let's Play on it and see what the fuss is about.

I never got far in it as a kid, I'd always get through maybe the first zone or two and give up. Decades later I still boot it up occasionally and do the exact same thing.

Super weird game and one of these days I still want to sit down and get through the whole thing.
