So you can patent genes that occur in nature which you had no involvement in developing but you cannot patent fictional creatures that you created whole cloth?I know that is not what the patent was about

Isn't this the patent they were suing Palworld over? That game and Pokemon are basically fighting a proxy war on behalf of Sony and Nintendo, it's hilarious.

Also mobile slop factories lately churn out pokemon games which i'm pretty sure have nothing to do with nintendo, i seen at least 3 in just one short look there.
