How did you get it back after they stole it?
Facebook posts and driving to the town they're always taken too. Normally they get driven there and burnt out etc.
But they crashed it on the way and abandoned it on the side of the road
Damn. Glad you got it back. Good on ya loading it up with alarms & security now, and eff those kids for their repeated attempts.
Pass the info to local law enforcement who can contact the social media company to obtain more infos about the account.
The cops here would laugh at you for expecting them to do their jobs.
Lol
Have, the person who sent this to me sends it all to them.
There's been no result.
They post this kind of thing every week different cars etc
If law enforcement won't help, then you'll need a lawyer who can get a court to issue a subpoena. This would probably be in the context of stalking/restraining order.
I can almost guarantee that Facebook, with its extensive data mining, knows exactly who it is.
Yeah going to call the police again this morning and contact my lawyer since we thought about a civil suit when one of the thieves was caught but got off by being undersge and saying he found it on the side of the road despite being on camera in the yard
the sherlock project may help identify their accounts.
Sorry i dont understand what's going on.
Your car got stolen.
You got the car back.
Then someone posted a photo of it today.
The conclusion is, the people who stole your car are now following you / watching you?
Why would car thieves be watching you?
They seem like edgy teenagers, I'm not sure you're going to find much logic
To steal it again?
The day after it came back someone tried to break in and steal it again setting off the newc alarm system.
Then they tried again the following night.
Then this photo was taken today and posted on the instagram page
Ok sorry I didnt get that from your post.
Why do they want this specific car?
Because last time it was stolen they got 60k worth of tools i assume.
It's also the most frequently stolen model of car where I'm from.
They still have the original keys after the last theft probably not realising it has all new locks.
Sensor lights in yard, combination club-lock for steering wheel, hidden-in-cab kill-switch installed through a relay, support any initiative for a local 'night place' for youth.
These kids are disaffected and need support options overnight.
All done apart from the steering wheel lock, instead I just have a club haha
Nice one.
Check out the night-place at Fitzroy Cr. Not perfect, but has had positive results.
Fair enough. Good luck.
It's probably kids. In usa it seems like 11-15 year olds donthis for "fun". Shit here they kill homeless people for fun too.
Id dig into the user names on the top left and the watermarked one. Search Google and ask chatgpt to find other usage of those usernames.
Looks like edguy lost boys is their crew name.
Have you thought of setting up a trail cam/dash cam? might be able to catch the person taking pics

I'd post it locally on every platform and hope they see themselves. See if local news would pick it up, if there's other cars being posted you're not the only one they're doing it to.
Being in public light should get something done, be it with the police or personally to their lives.
It's all over Facebook every week.
There's on average 5 cars stolen a week but nothing happens.
Police found this a couple weeks ago in one house
Solid. That's shitty.... I guess you just keep calling the police to document it. Cameras, etc to help.
I have no idea what I'd do. Sorry.
Do you really need that snorkel?
Yeah, it often goes places where water comes over the bonnet
