I listened to GWAR in high school during my metal phase, this was starting to go into the death metal, I got progressively heavier from hair metal. Anyways, I thought they were kind of a gimmick, little did I know they would outlast most of the other bands, and now have become socially involved because I guess their lyrics were just too subtle for people lol.

GWAR, the world is so fucked up they've been the voice of reason all along.
