they keep laying people off and not hiring anyone at my company. it's not AI-related though, we have no gains from AI lol

saying it's AI-related is an easy and convenient way to do layoffs without it looking bad to investors. also investors want to see this so they are willing to believe the lie.

i agree. layoffs like this have always been going on, CEOs get to say ai and investors get excited. its causing more uproar about ai.
