Nothing to see here, these are Christmas gifts, you have no right to look in them

[-] Zaraki42@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 day ago

the crisis is these stores are stealing from us, lying to us and treating everyone like criminals.

take OUR food back... if you see someone taking taking food, no you didn't...

I don't give two flying fucks about Loblaws, Walmart, metro, Sobeys... whatever .. they are all criminals and should be fined to high hell.

Robin Hood and Luigi have risen....

Yeah, I am crying a river for the oligarchs that are systematically starving us out of existence.

It's like people don't realize these costs just come back into the prices that the customers pay.

[-] vane@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Edgar Friendly is their leader.

[-] radiofreebc@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

Ed Friendly...the guy who created Little House on the Prairie?

[-] vane@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

nah the guy from sewage from demoliton man

[-] radiofreebc@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Probably still a better human being than the guy who created Little House on the Prairie.

Ed Friendly is still, to this day, the worst human being i have ever met in person. The world became a better place the day he died.

There was nothing friendly about him...at all.

The main crime organization is called Loblaws.

[-] CapuccinoCoretto@lemmy.world 18 points 2 days ago

baby formula priced at $97 dollars each.

The criminals behind the criminals.

Why is no one having children!?!?!

I know why...

[-] rozodru@piefed.world 16 points 2 days ago

I'm trying to care but I just can't.

Take what you want folks, I know I do when I'm in a loblaws, shoppers or metro.

[-] cyberpunk007@lemmy.ca 7 points 2 days ago

Same. After all the price fixing, and the state of capitalism at this point where all the money is up top, these whiners can just get fucked.

[-] rozodru@piefed.world 8 points 2 days ago

bingo. I live in Toronto and do all my grocery shopping in chinatown on spadina. it's cheaper, better quality, and i'm supporting local businesses. When I want a snack I go to loblaws and "shop" for it.

Remember kids, if you see someone stealing, no you didn't. Unless they are bourgeoisie fucks

[-] BloodMuffin@lemmy.ca 12 points 2 days ago

I'm pretty sure I steal a item or two every time I use self checkout.

i swipe everything across the scanner, if it doesn't scan, oh well

[-] TheBloodFarts@lemmy.ca 9 points 2 days ago

That's been my rule. If after 2 swipes it doesn't scan, it's free

[-] cyberpunk007@lemmy.ca 5 points 2 days ago

🤣

This probably happens by accident all the time also.

[-] nik282000@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 day ago

I was never trained on the operation of that machine.

[-] asg101@lemmy.ca 12 points 2 days ago

"...in exchange for baby formula priced at $97 dollars each. "

The REAL crime here.

[-] cyberpunk007@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 days ago

Totally. It should be more like $158 each right?!

But the original title sucked.

Remember during the pandemic, when managers over-ordered, or product arrived out-of-season, stuff got spoiled, and all of that shrink was blamed on "shoplifting" because it was more palatable and profitable for management and the corpos to blame the customer and claim insurance money, rather than admit they'd made errors or there were flaws in the system that would force them to eat the cost?

[-] Kichae@lemmy.ca 7 points 2 days ago

Sorry, Galen, what were those record profits again?

[-] cyberpunk007@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 days ago

A tale about a bunch of robin hood's. Nice.
