Aside from the disgusting mattress and overflowing garbage can this really isn't all that bad lol
Yeah it's cluttered and messy but it's not a total shit show. There is some order to it

Yeah. This is messy, not a hoarder.
This house is cleaned compared to my home when I was working 13 hour days and trapped in The Depression Zone™. Regardless of the situation, if my friend's house looked like this I'd give him some shit about it but it wouldn't stop me from hanging out there
I am actively house hunting and trying not to judge homeowners when I see a mess since I can't know the context. Maybe they're depressed, disabled, or they've been forced to leave under short notice and the piles are the result of the move...my place currently looks like a hoarder home right now because I'm sorting and boxing things up so the closets were emptied.
I know this boils down to personal tolerance, but I’m a little horrified that anyone could look at this and say it “isn’t all that bad”.
Like I said, lose the mattress and garbage can and it's just messy.
It's so dirty though.
They have a big ass trophy so they must be doing something right
The world's grossest mattress. 2012-2023
Yeah that made me nearly sick
Dammit you got me. I was having a rough day, but I cracked a smile...
* looks around *
Uhm yeah that is a terrible thing people do yeah ... That would never happen to me...
* starts sweating 😅 *
sweats with you
This actually seems quite tame compared to some houses. A house round here I called the "redneck house" sold at auction recently and I'd hate to see internal photographs if the smell of dog waste wafting out if it was any guide. There is now a skip outside and security barriers around the property, presumably because it is a biohazard.
Oof; maybe they should hire a different real estate agent if they didn't suggest cleaning up a tad bit more....It looks like the people who live here have kids which can make cleaning a nightmare...Or they may have ADHD or depression and let it all get too overwhelming to tackle...But there are definitely people who just don't mind it at all. I've deep cleaned things and shown housemates how dirty the floor/tiles/whatever is, and they end up really shocked because they just couldn't see that whatever it was was dirty at all. It's wild to me
Yeah. The ADHD/depression thing can really make things bad. It's kinda funny though. One day out of nowhere I'll snap out of it, say "Nope", and clean something... next thing you know it's a few hours later and everything's nice. It's just so hard to keep it that way because I feel like I'm just running on autopilot most of the time.
760 sq ft listed for 190k btw
With a trophy that big, they don't need to clean their room. Unless that's a trophy for cleanest room
Maybe it is a trophy for cleanest room, and every time they think about cleaning, they realize they already got all the achievements, so why bother.
I don't see the problem
Terrible photos listed by estate agents/realtors that are so bad they’re funny.
Posting guidelines.
Posts in this community must be of property (inside or out) listed for sale which contains a terrible element. “Terrible” can refer to:
the photo itself (finger over the lens, too far away, people in the shot, bad Photoshop, etc.)
the property (weird layout, questionable plumbing, unsound structure, etc.)
the interior (carpeted bathrooms, awful taste interiors, weird mannequins/taxidermies/art, inflatable pools indoors, etc.)
the actual listing itself including unusual descriptions and unrealistic pricing. However, this isn’t a community to discuss the housing market in general. This is a comedic community - let’s keep it light.
