It probably is in the millions. Does the study include people in temporary accommodation or stuck in abusive housing because they have nowhere else to go? I know they're not technically 'houseless' but I wouldn't necessarily say they were housed if that is to mean safely housed.

Also, we should note that homelessness isn’t permanent. People do go into and out of homelessness.
