Republicans will introduce poison pill after poison pill so that any "compromise" will be a long term disaster for our immigration policy. Anyone who says they want to put ankle monitors on small children are not serious people.
I'd be fine with even a harsh bill because of the urgency of the situation, it might take a generation to undo it but it would be undone, but not draconian.
